music

I thought I had a lot of INXS and Depeche Mode music, but my iPod tells me otherwise. How sad. It might be time for an iTunes bender.

I'M NOT!! AND I DON'T KNOW WHY I'M YELLING ...

Anyway, get the CDs. You can rip them at super-duper quality, and you have an automatic back-up! :D

I second the CD purchase for the same reasons. Most download services offer crap quality. I'm not paying a buck a song unless I can get at least CD quality.

I have tinny ears. I can't even hear how awful my car stereo is unless Seppo makes me focus and listen for a while.

I did buy a few cds over buying individual songs a few months ago because it was cheaper to get the entire cd and I wanted most of the songs. But generally, I only want a song or two.

However, in the case of INXS and Depeche Mode, I might just go ahead and get the full cds, because I love most of their music.

+1 for the dinosaurs. :D

Appreciation for good audio quality is a skill and can be learned, and has nothing to do with your ear size. :)

What music are you listening to that you want only a song or two? In my experience, most music benefits from being enjoyed in the album format, rather than as singles.
